For four generations, the Ferrara family has been delighting Little Italy with its outstanding Italian/French desserts. Cannoli, stogliatella, gelati and more have been made right here since 1892. It’s our favorite place (although a bit touristy) to go for a cannoli and to gawk at the amazing wedding cakes on display.

Last summer, Quality Steaks transformed their charcuterie bar into a Willy Wonka-esque ice cream cake bar. The new options include a Strawberry Shortcake (with yuzu-yogurt icing), a Toasted Banana S’more, and a Chocolate Covered Grasshopper. (via Midtown Lunch)

Happy Valentine’s Day! Still trying to figure out what to do tonight with that special someone? Maybe it’s as just as simple as having a boozy dessert at one of these restaurants, put together by Eater.com. We might have to splurge during lunchtime at The David Burke Townhouse, because if their Warm Drunken Donuts (pictured above) are anything like their Cheesecake Lollipop Tree, then we’ll definitely feel Cupid’s Arrow!
